An interesting XK120 with an extensive history file of past restoration work supported by photographs. This vehicle was originally supplied by St Helier Garages Jersey to a Mr R.L. Sangan on the 5th December 1950. The Jaguar resided in Jersey until April 1957 when it became registered with the East Riding of Yorkshire by which time it had changed body colour from the original Cream to Blue. According to the Green logbook it then went through a series of local owners in the early 70’s with a particularly interesting period when it was registered to Geoffrey Charlton on the 25th March 1974 but this entry was cancelled and the Jaguar then moved to Colin Musgrove on the 9th April 1974. He subsequently sold it to the aforementioned Geoffrey Charlton on the 26th April 1974 and bought it back from him on the 11th October 1974.
The Jaguar then passed to a Mr Douglas Hunt who ran a Classic Car Wedding Business in Cleveland. Mr Hunt intended to carry out restoration work on the vehicle but the history file implies that certain events overtook his enthusiasm to restore the car and the vehicle was sold in 1990 to a Mr Anderson. By this time the vehicle had gone through a number of registration changes, SOW 666, 741 HAJ and finally GEF 120. The vehicle had also changed colour again from Blue to the current Red, the interior always in Tan. The vehicle remained with Mr Anderson until 2016 when it was purchased by the present owner. During the 26 years Mr Anderson owned the vehicle he embarked upon an extensive restoration program costing many, many thousands which is fully documented in the history file. The story does not end there, the current owner decided to have further restoration work carried out by Twyford Moors Classic Cars and WinSpeed Motorsport resulting in invoices totalling some £14700
