This MGC is without doubt a truly exceptional restored and uprated motor vehicle. It has been the subject matter of a total re-build, ALL mechanical parts and body components were stripped to leave a total bare shell. The body, (where necessary) was replaced with new heritage panels. The vehicle was sand blasted, metal treated, primed and painted on a ‘spit roast’.
The underside being as clean and fresh as the topside. The vehicle was then meticulously rebuilt, all secondary mechanical parts replaced with new. The engine, (although only covered 31,000 miles) was stripped, re-built, uprated with a fast road cam, balanced and lightened flywheel. The inlet and exhaust manifolds replaced to except three 40/45 DOCE Weber carburettors and a free flow tuned exhaust system. Gearbox, overdrive and differential overhauled. Brakes up-rated with dual piston callipers, spax adjustable shock absorbers. poly-bushed suspension which is fully powder coated. Minilite alloy knock on wheels and Pirelli radial tyres. Alternator, servo, master cylinders, wiring loom,dual core radiator etc. all replaced with new OEM component’s. The interior and bright work retaining much of it’s originality, however the seats were re-furbished in a quality hide offering supple comfort. New hood and tonneau complete the package.
